Types of Dental Gold

There are two kinds of dental gold. One is a medical fixture, the other is a fashion. Both cost a lot of money, as you’re paying mostly for the labor to make them. Nonetheless, all yellow dental gold can be easily converted into cash.

Gold Crowns & Bridges

Most dental gold is installed to fix a dental problem. Gold crowns cover and protect your tooth after a deep filling or root canal. They can cover the entire exposed portion or just the chewing surface. Gold bridges replace missing teeth and connect to existing teeth. Many crowns and bridges will be replaced eventually.

Gold Grillz & Caps

The other kind of dental gold is purely aesthetic in purpose. Basically, removeable gold caps and grillz are mouth jewelry. People wear them, because they like the style. But people tire of wearing unnecessary gold pieces in their mouths, and the novelty fades.

Dental Gold Comes Out

All dental gold is either temporary or semi-permanent at best. When it’s removed, it has no use anymore. So what can you do with it? You could just lose it in a drawer, but why not call Midlands Gold to buy it instead? Bring your dental gold to us; we’ll quickly figure out its real value and give you our best price, up front.
